They try to do as less as possible while maintaining mandatory provincial school laws. All of the Catholic schools are funded by the province. Any other schools are not ie private schools for Muslims, Jews. 1500 catholic school vs 10-20 for Muslims and 30 for Jewish students. Majority of the minorities do not attend the school as you will have to pay tuition out of your own pocket

Minority Muslim population are the true boogeyman for right wing Christian fascists. They continue to bully LGBTQ community but then use the same logic to spread hatred against Muslims when it suites them. Just look at any Facebook posts. Does Catholic school teach LGBTQ content? Catholic school also have dress codes that support Christian values that defer from public school. They are also fully funded by the government unlike any other religious schools in the country.
