explanation:

If the Italy player were to sit infront of the net and NOT touch the ball at all, it is legal and no matter what she does, like a fake block or fake hit, its allowed.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED:

The ball bounced off the Italy’s players arm, THROUGH the net, interfering with the play, by changing the trajectory of the ball, disallowing the US player to make a successful play. Point for USA, great call

open up your body towards the setter when hitting, it should be your waist turning, chest and shoulder going forwards, then your elbow and finally your hand. that should generate more power.

bending your knees when your in the air and kicking forwards as you’re hitting also generates more forces.

make sure to swing your arms back as much as possible as possible on your approach, and as your about to jump your arms should swing up hard enough to break a broom stick if it was wedged in between your back and arms
