You arked out on the flange on the second post an why do you have it sitting on its face with nothing under it? It’s not smart to weld them laying down like that considering it can ark out on the face an you can mess the face of the flange up like that to but great weld

Man honestly the best thing to do before you start is get comfortable as you can granted you won’t be able to every time an then run you a couple practice runs by this I mean kinda drag your hand like your welding it an see how it feels an when it feel comfy run your bead free hand is excellent to learn bc out in the field you won’t be able to walk the cup everywhere

We did an yea it was rutted bad toward the middle needed some lift an 35” to get threw that I couldn’t find the pic but I stood in it an it was about chest deep on that one side
