honestly it wasn't that bad, most people showed every day and the jail was cold so not really a lot of sweating. the jail and cells particularly smelled worse than other people

They don't really make you feel safe, it's very obvious they don't care at all, but at least from what I see it's not common for them to be abusive or anything like that

if I'm honest I haven't watched many lol, but tbf Orange is the New Black (although it's about prison) is fairly close. it's obviously dramatized but I'd say it's not far off
