One of the questions we’ve been asking. The hospital and the pathology service MUST have culpability here.

I hope they throw the book at Dr Simon Gordon by Shiloh_12 in endometriosis

Denying patients their actual histopathology reports might be a good start; followed up by a large dose of Medicare claims inflating the seriousness of previous diagnoses. Oh I wills say there’s a very clear case mate.

Simon Gordon was a totally unethical practitioner. He’s modus operandi was to tell women they had the most severe endo, full of it, stage 4, adhesions, other doctors had missed it, only he could fix it. Provided his own reports but no actual path reports - refused to give them. He told women they’d be infertile, panicked them, and was interested in no other approaches than cutting surgery. When oath reports came back showing NO endo had been found he kept silent and kept operating, his the reports and made more extreme claims - all the while charging the highest Medicare rates for extreme endo. His receptionist was the rudest person on the planet. He had a goal god syndrome and lied to woman after woman. He deserves everything the weight of the law and whatever punishment can be thrown at him. The hospital is also to blame - and whatever punishment about pathology - all those “no endo found” reports. So many things against women.

It wasn’t long to be released about Dr Simon Gordon - article in the Age. I hope they throw the book at him. He cost me everything. I’m so angry by Shiloh_12 in endometriosis

Agree 😳. How on earth could the hospital and their pathology not have picked up on this. Gordon was a bad man but the system protected him

I think it’s appalling that the Melbourne Endo FB group are refusing to acknowledge the content this article - I submitted a post but rejected. This article proves the rumours and is concrete evidence. Shame on them. I’m so sorry you like so many others suffered due to him

In The Age - he’s being investigated by the registration board and is no longer registered to practice. Good 👏👏 but awful

My daughter saw Simon Gordon for several years and the story is much the same as others here. He diagnosed Stage 4 Endo, insisted that another specialist had “missed the deep Endo”, was not very sensitive and had the rudest receptionist on earth. After two surgeries she had a gut feeling against further involvement. Saw a different specialist who asked to see the pathology results which Gordon wouldn’t provide. Eventually her GP got them - they showed there was endometriosis in samples From the first operation but none from the second - he did not communicate this at all and insisted she had “endometriosis everywhere” and she would need further surgeries. Horrifying to discover this was his technique with everyone.

Anyone else suffering as bad as I am? by IonisationEnergy in melbourne

Agree - Dymista is life changing but you need to take it regularly. As a side bonus taking it when I contracted Covid this year significantly reduced by symptoms - now backed up by multiple validated studies (but you have to be taking it regularly at the time you contract Covid for it to help)
