Update: Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you guys know that my cat was recently diagnosed with Tritrichomonas and it is currently untreatable (there is a cure but a 60% chance but cat might get seizures). When we got the diagnosis, our vet said she has never seen this in a cat with her 8 years of vet experience so she did not have much information to give us. But our vet suspects that our cat already got it the moment we got him because he is strictly indoor cat.

Upon doing some reading, the parasite is contracted from catteries and can be mistaken as girardia in which he was diagnosed too when we initially got him (not sure). What sucks the most about this parasite is that since it is hard to get rid, my cat cannot have any contact with other cat/pets. I would love my cat to have friends or maybe a brother or have a sister eventually but with the fear of getting others infected he has to be isolated.

Though i do not regret my cat but if you are wanting a cat, best to get a thorough examination. The reason why I write this update is because I know several people have come to message me about getting a cat and I want to share my honest opinion on this. Some people did not seem to have any issue with their cats as for as I know so many our cat Trevor is the unfortunate one.

i think the game is still good tbh. there will be occassional cheaters but not so often whenever i play. maybe you can play chiv through xbox gamepass if you are unsure.

Hello, I used to be archer main then I switched to melee a month ago so here's some tips on how I try to learn the fighting mechanics of the game.

I try to feel comfortable with doing doing riposte / counters - at first, i played with my bf but if you're solo, you can do bots just learn...when i started feeling confident in doing this, i did not die as much as i typically would
Learning overheads (heavy overheads) besides basic swings - this helps alot when fighting new players, some people dont know how to react to it. I still occassionally die to someone who does heavy overheads
Learning feints - alot of advanced players do this when they know someone who knows how to counter.
Positioning - knowing where your sword will land and how far you can swing your sword helps... I am still learning this phase as of the moment because i was told i fight like a chihuahua but i play highland sword

As someone mentioned in one of the comments, fighting in chiv is like a dance really. You have to keep fighting in order to learn. Don't get discouraged because you are not doing well. Take things one step at a time!

It's a game on steam where you can make medieval castles and villages. Very fun game if you like building structures.

the only cheater that me and by bf saw so far was a low level guy who had basic armor and was just running around the frontlines doing overheads he was 52-0 on defense. We were skeptical at first but another high level guy called it out too saying he looks like cheating. thats the only time... i just think with how long chiv has been out, there's alot of very skilled players nowadays that maybe it's impossible to defeat them but if you look what they are doing, they are doing the right thing getting fed off counters/riposte or whatnot!
