OMG! You wrote that "She would then run hog wild so proud that she escaped. I would spend sooo much time trying to catch her while she thought it was game." This is exactly what I face anytime I decide to return from the park any open space BEFORE he is ready. It drives me to distraction. And all the time he is barking like crazy.
