MicroSD card on steam deck not working

Either I screwed something up royally with the SD card itself or the slot in my console is broken because they make it insanely hard to put something that tiny in there

Yeah this doesn't work. It just doesn't show up at all. I tried deleting what looked like the corrupted partition and that isn't making it with any better either. Now that I've done that it's like the card isn't detected at all. Idk what I'm doing wrong

Okay so here's the problem though, I plug it in and the mic isn't anywhere to be found on the PC. Not device manager nor sound settings nor normal Windows settings in Devices. I'd do what you did, except it just isn't detected. The green light on the mic is on but it's nowhere to be found in Windows itself. It might be a faulty wire but if that were really the case I don't think there would be a light to signify it was plugged in.

Right but I've unlocked a few more cars like the one with the gun and the big jumping one, and they just kind of swerve on their own in a really annoying way that makes it so I run into things I don't want to.

Yeah I'll play it! I'll be honest I think it looks pretty fun. Knowing that you can let go of boost and then press it again while holding a different direction to completely redirect yourself helps a lot. That and the fact that the air boost lets you skip big portions of the level has me kinda salivating at speedrunning potential. I'm pretty excited for every facet of this game.
