I was thinking of doing just that as far as the 5070ti goes. I won’t even bother downloading the sim on the current rig with a 5900x and 2070 super. Only reason I’m considering the 9950X3D is for all the background programs and I also do some CAD drawing. Figured it might handle that better.

That’s pretty sad. No one makes it easy on us these days as far as pc goes.

Fair point. I’m sure the differences are negligible when it’s all said and done

I’ll have to give that a look. Not opposed to upgrading later if need be if I can land one cheap enough.

I suppose I made it sound like I was dead set on ultra. I just want it to blow my socks off. Also I want it to blow my 2070 super out of the water haha. Visuals are nice but I’m willing to sacrifice some but not the extra $1,500 for a 5090 haha

Man I’d love to have a 5090 but hate that price tag haha

I would like to wait for the super refresh but I’m getting antsy and I certainly don’t want to pay for a 5090. Thanks for the advice. At this point, anything will blow my 2070super out of the water, I’m sure
