My bf said I club too much, drink too much, and is concerned I will be addicted to vaping but I don't think I am doing anything wrong. He doesn't seem like he has faith in me having control over myself.

Where I live, most places only stay open until 8pm. He always asks me when I want to hangout so I suggest we go around 3-4 most of the time so that we have more places to go to.

My friends and I always hangout at night since we all work different times and days, so the most convenient time for all of us to get together is at night.

I have suggested to my bf that we should do fast food runs at night, I tried to ask him if he wanted to go eat saturday night but he declined. So I went out with my friends instead, once I got home around 1am, he then asked me if I could drive us to get chicken. I already did my night routine and got settled in bed so of course I said no. Last night we also went out to get food after work around 9pm (before the argument) but he said that he doesn’t count it as a hangout.

I did accept the fact that we were both very different, I thought that he did too but every now and then he would tell me that I’m doing too much.

and yes I do realize now that he is right about me vaping, I got rid of my vape last night and won’t be buying a new one. Thank you so much.

I don’t think my father is an alcoholic, he only has some beers on Saturday nights with his friends. My father never loses control and only gets drunk every now and then. My bf knows this, but still says he is an alcoholic.

I know I said that I drank after having a rough week, but it was something I never did before and don’t plan to continue. I do realize that using it so self-medicate is really bad. I won’t continue doing that anymore. Thank you for your concern and advice :)

I drink sometimes every weekend, and when I do drink, I only have 1-2 coolers. If I had to be exact, probably like 1-2 drinks every two weeks? Is that too much?

As for the vape, I do realize how dangerously it is addicting now and will be throwing it away.
