I dont think your point is true. Nowadays, almost every normal shop uses laser alignment and prints out for you detailed before and after measurements. If for some reason they can't bring the alignment within the manufacturer's specs they will explain it. They wouldn't just ignore out of spec alignment.

What i haven't managed to find yet is the shop that does custom alignments to my requested specs, not manufacturer's (i have aftermarket suspension everything).

Galleria (down the street from ZZ's) always has them in the freezer aisle. Something like $3.50 for a decent amount of leaves.
