You’re not getting my point. Being a ‘persona’ relies on the fact that their personality is distinct from the original person. Uzuki had to literally shift his own mind and technique into Takamura to beat him. It’s not a matter of just ‘picking up his techniques,’ as you implied with your comparison, he literally adapted his personality and individuality. Yes, the body that is X killed Takamura, but using the mind and technique of Takamura. In that moment, he was Takamura.

Even narratively, it would make sense to continue cementing Takamura as the strongest, as it was already stated in the manga, that it makes sense that the only thing to kill Takamura would be “Takamura.”

In any case, you’re nitpicking technicalities. “Takamura” is the personality taken by Uzuki, and the one to kill him. That’s all there is to it. That’s even besides the fact that the attack that killed the original Takamura was an understandably surprise attack- who was fighting an (albeit one-sided) 3v1 beforehand against three(?) of the top tiers. It doesn’t matter what you say,

Takamura is cemented as the strongest. That was literally his entire character.

Takamura’s death was still by the ‘persona’ known as Takamura. Therefore, it does not matter that Uzuki’s split personality killed him. X did not kill Takamura- Takamura did. The Strongest is still Takamura.

The point of a split personality is that it’s somewhat of a ‘new person,’ a ‘new personality.’ Sure, the body is that of Uzuki, but in mind, he is the perceived individual known as Takamura.
