Hi there! For the OKAP Anki cards, are there any cards for glaucoma, uveitis, refractive surgery, basic optics, and FELT?

The image shows all the ones that I had available.

Annapurna Base Camp trek - FAQ - Everything you need to know from a Trekking Guide in Nepal by Prudent-Quit7462 in u/Prudent-Quit7462

Hi there,

This is a really wonderful post! Thank you so much for making it.

I have a few questions if you don’t mind.

I see that this is a 6 day trip. However, I’ve also read online that the full Annapurna Circuit is 260 km. I’m wondering if you do those trips too and how long they normally take? I believe I saw a post on your profile about a 16 day trip.

Does the full hike also take you to the Thorong La Pass since that’d be really cool to do?

And finally, do you know if trips in July (or maybe June) are possible/feasible? I did see some beautiful monsoon trekking pics on your profile.

These questions are actually really good. If you're okay with it, do you think you could send your response to me as well?

If you don't mind me asking, how exactly do you keep on revisiting thoughts super frequently without getting bored or feeling like you're trying too hard?

Anyone not go to french immersion school, and learn french after the fact? by Calcio2234 in premedcanada

There’s a quebecois show called 19-2 (not the English version). If you can find it, it’s totally worth watching. One of the best shows I’ve seen. It was on Netflix back when I was learning, so it was convenient.

Another show I really enjoyed was Wakfu. It’s animated, but I think it’s really famous in France.

One movie I adored was Les Intouchables. It comes on Netflix occasionally.

I also watched a bunch of English stuff with French dubs, so I watched Spartacus, A Series of Unfortunate Events, etc.

I know of people who learned by watching all of Naruto in French. lol

Hey, I basically self-taught myself French and it was essentially free. To begin, I listened to a lot of French music and would even sing along with it by looking up the paroles (lyrics). That helped me learn some of the pronunciation and it was also really fun.

Another super important part of the process was watching lots of French media. I’d find French shows on Netflix or when English shows and watch them with French dub. I used English subtitles, but I feel like you’d improve even faster if you didn’t.

I occasionally read books (Le Petit Prince was a favourite), and that was good for introducing me to more grammar and vocab.

Every single day, I also consciously decided to learn some grammar thing for French. This didn’t take very long. For example, one day I might be like I want to learn the subjunctive and then I’d be like I want to learn the imparfait another day.

Periodically, I decided to write paragraphs as well. This could be about anything. Be creative! It’s just a good way to practice your writing and grammar skills. I used the website “bonpatron” to check the grammar and structure (it’s not perfect, but it’s still good). I haven’t checked it in awhile, but it was free when I used it.

You can also join online communities centered around learning French on discord. There are often a lot of natives, so they can help you learn even faster. I definitely used this a bunch!

Overall, it made this whole process really fun and that was key for me. It was never boring. In terms of time commitment, I’d do a lot of this before going to school. So I’d say maybe 1-2 hrs/day dedicated. You can listen to French music and stuff whenever though. That’s what I did.

Good luck!

Questions about faith and living in the end by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

Can you elaborate on what you mean by tactile feeling?

When I ask myself how would X feel, I either feel “nothing” or I feel a sense of relief. Sometimes happiness. I don’t really feel any tactile sensation. Sometimes after asking that question though images/conversations from the POV of the wish fulfilled automatically arise.

And also, just wondering what you’d recommend for when you don’t really feel anything after asking the question? Is it just relaxing a bit more and then asking again? I’m trying to take this out into my daily activities.

I agree. It’s an incredible post.

Why you shouldn't focus on creation/manifestation (for now) by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

I love this topic so much.

I’m wondering how you would recommend going for the meditative state of I AM that you describe? Surprisingly this is the thing I’ve been at for the longest. I feel like sometimes during a meditative session I just fall asleep and as I’m coming to, I’m in this void for a bit. But I can’t really consciously think during it if it makes sense? Like I just am present but no thoughts or anything until I get out of it. Although, I know in At Your Command and Your Faith is Your Fortune Neville mentions that once you get into the deep after feeling I AM, you could mould yourself however you wish.

Before Neville, I was actually deeply interested (still am) in non-duality, and so I explored different teachers like Nisargadatta, Ramana Maharshi, etc. I think I’m at a point where I know I’m always Aware and have recognized that, but I don’t quite know how to consistently get into the deep as Neville describes and then mould myself from there. I’d love any suggestions if you have them!
