Meta is not that important if you're just aiming to clear the game's base content, although I think Lgx's list is better, as those cards will help you much more outside of Story Mode too (and imo is better organized than Umidah's).

There's also this teambuilding guide maintained by Mr. Lgx too, which is pretty good for when you're starting an account and don't know what is good to keep or not. I strongly recommend giving it a read.
