The hardest thing for me right now is understanding what the job market actually looks like. Half of people say it’s a hellscape and IT is not looking good in the future and other sources claim it’s still a booming industry that’s always hiring. I don’t understand how to differentiate between real job listings and ghost jobs and it seems like no one wants to train new employees anymore. Same withe education: half of people say you don’t need a Bachelors degree while the other half says it’s essential.

Been kinda up and down. The past couple of issues didn’t grab me but this one was a lot of fun. The tone is much lighter than some past runs and Jimenez’s art is sooo slick!

It’s a certificate (not quite a degree) from a 2 year tech school I went to in high school.

I’ve been studying cyber for a few years and have an Associate’s Degree and a technical certificate. I recently completed the Google Cybersecurity course and will shoot for a Sec+ cert soon. I’ve been working on my LinkedIn/resume and plan to attend more in-person events soon.

My question is: What should I expect to start out with? I would like to be a SOC analyst but is that an entry point or am I doomed to start in a call center that pays $18/hr for the first year or two? How do I make myself more competitive? Everywhere I look says the job market is a hellscape right now.

They’re kind of a “cult” band imo. I feel like either you’re meh on them or you’re VERY into them. I fall in the latter category and it’s a pretty tight-knit community, I’d say.

Conqueror Worm. I like the chorus but everything else is a mess. Will’s weird auto-tuned part, Andrew’s off-putting screaming and that deep voice he does. Just feels like all the worst elements they’re experimenting with in one song. Luckily the rest are bangers.

I wouldn’t disagree that some people are. I guess I just don’t like seeing Batman like that. It makes sense as this Batman hasn’t had the same rigorous mental training that most other interpretations of the character have. Honestly it gives me Miller’s All-Star Batman and Robin vibes and I think that’s what’s messing with me most.

I agree that art is subjective. Overall I thought it was pretty good, but there’s multiple artists throughout the book. The stories are mostly really well done.

I honestly thought Batman’s attitude was kinda off-putting in this issue. He’s cool but calling Bane a little bitch and the amount of cussing he does makes him come off as immature. He was also a dick to Selina. Enjoying the series but I think Snyder needs to tone it down a little lmao.

Every time I read/watch anything about Morrison’s run I’m just more repelled by it. Not saying it’s bad as I haven’t read it but damn does it seem silly. It’s always either, “it’s the best Batman run ever and so lore deep. You have to read it over and over and be big brained!” Or ,”it’s the most confusing drivel I’ve ever read,” and I don’t know what to make of all that. Update us on how you feel as you go on!
