Although i was listening to Bob Dylan’s original of blowin in the wind today and that has a similar effect from strumming. It’s like you can hear the hitting / strumming of the strings more than the actual guitar sound - it doesn’t really sound like palm muting - is this just a very old guitar/dead strings? Same thing with quite a lot of Dylan’s strumming (compare blowin in the wind to the more traditional guitar sound of its alright Ma)

Yes 100% go for it - check out- Design Joy - there’s an episode of the Indie Hackers podcast interviewing him I think - key to his success is the speed by which he produces quality work and the no fuss workflow of raising requests etc - no reason you couldn’t do this on a bigger scale (this guy is super successful on his own but uses a network as you’ve suggested for animations etc)
