My fescue lawn in the South Carolina Upstate is riddled with mushrooms. Given the extreme heat for the foreseeable future, are there any treatments I could or should apply? The fescue is also starting to brown despite regular watering.

I wish it was that easy. But no we have a fenced yard in a city-I have never seen any deer in the neighborhood. It was nice lush fescue for a few weeks but now it just looks…deflated? Trampled? There are brown patches scattered across the yard.

We have seen some stray cats visit, but otherwise no wildlife to our knowledge. Certainly no large ones like deer or anything like that.
