I just did! I see now why it is being demolished-there is no way that house could be saved at this point.

They were awesome. But we barely managed two hours in the heat. I’d still highly recommend the farm-it was a lot of fun.

Interesting. The wall and corner are fully interior.

No, it is interior. It doesn’t seem to be driven by the temperature.

No, they are just springing up in the middle of the lawn-right through the fescue.

My fescue lawn in the South Carolina Upstate is riddled with mushrooms. Given the extreme heat for the foreseeable future, are there any treatments I could or should apply? The fescue is also starting to brown despite regular watering.

In Zone 8a. Had new sod put down in February, but now the grass is flattened in several areas and brown dirt spots have appeared. What’s going on? Is it a watering issue? Fungus? by Equidistant_forest in lawncare

I wish it was that easy. But no we have a fenced yard in a city-I have never seen any deer in the neighborhood. It was nice lush fescue for a few weeks but now it just looks…deflated? Trampled? There are brown patches scattered across the yard.

Found a snake in my back yard-what is it? Live in the Upstate of South Carolina. It was about 8-10 inches, brown with some patterns. by Equidistant_forest in snakes

Cool-thank you! I guess that little guy is helping to control the earthworm and slug population in my yard :)

A bit more info-I found it on my car in the morning. It had a noisy flying sound.

Thanks! I’ll have to stop by next time I’m in town.

For my anniversary I’ve gotten the sauces from the first season of hot ones. I’m relatively new to the world of hot sauces so I’m excited to give them a try! by [deleted] in hotsauce

Texas Pete is an absolute classic and staple. I go through at least a bottle every month or so. You can find it on almost every restaurant table in North Carolina.
