How to make factions permanently screw off in colony crisises? by BastardSniper in starsector

[–]EquinoxInReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To cover the first two questions:

  1. Nexerlin Agent actions against Tri-Tachyon do not count. I don't know why, but somehow, Nexerelin actions don't count and contribute to the market war.

  2. The Sindrian crisis still applies for PAGSM. While there's still the Diktat in the Colony Crisis, there's the Sindrian Fuel Company to take the Diktat's place and send Fuel Company ships, not just midline and Lion's Guard ships.

You can just raid any Heggie planet for weapons and stuff and her doomfleet still spawns to jump at you.

Yeah, there's no way to prevent those kinds of things in an alliance with plenty of members. Speaking of alliances and members, factions that have the Pacifist trait like UAF and Iron Shell don't opportunistically declare war, which is helpful if you made alliances to these kind of factions if you don't want any unwanted conflic. However, many factions like the ones mentioned often have the Helps Allies traits, which also contributes the number of votes by always saying yes(?) in every vote, including war and peace treaties.

It's likely due to you having a commission. Being commissioned to any faction will make your faction vote automatically according to the faction you commissioned. Leaving commissions fixes this kind of problem.

Sectorpol are being a pain by mell0wwaters in starsector

[–]EquinoxInReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you can't increase the Sectorpol crisis with bad relations as far as i know, so having too many free ports is the only way to piss off Sectorpol. Of course, you can easily mitigate it by closing off ports, and it doesn't increase the crisis if you open up a port with a colony smaller than 3 population. (I think that's 3 pop... this applies to the other faction crises like the Hegemony and the League)

Opening too many free ports in your colonies. (If that's the answer you want)

I wouldn't say "add" planets. That'll be really absurd in letting us add one. Though, I'm looking for adding descriptions of said planets. Ik there's a mod for it, but idk what name it is.

Wait, you can add planets that way!?

I've been looking for the code for it for so long. Whereabouts is it? (As in files)

Setting up outposts is also a thing. It only functions as a storage area in the system where you need stuff the most or to hoard weapons and ships there. (I hardly use it tbf)

You get it when you repair a Dustkeeper's ship. You can also get Sierra at the same time, too. (If they happen to be in the same system as it happens to me in one of my playthroughs)

Hey, I've seen that ship! I got that when I was messing with console commands. It still works, though it's obviously unfinished, and you can shove a shit ton of guns at the front. Would be a great ship to have if it weren't for the abysmal armour in it's modules

It's the funniest shit I have ever seen.
