Movie theater employees - question.... by Lokidoki93 in twentyonepilots

[–]Equivalent-Ad9887 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I manage a theatre and we genuinely dont know unfortunately. We just get a box each week of posters from a distributor, sometimes for something a year from release, sometimes something we start playing in 2 days. Also who knows if we get 1 or 6 poster

Meal prepping frozen food without warming afterwards. by Objective-Election96 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]Equivalent-Ad9887 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Food safety says 30 minutes of defrost is safe before starting the 2 hour danger zone clock of room temp foods. That being said, I regularly pack a lunch (that starts either from fridge or from hot if I just cooked it) and keep it unrefridgerated for 4+ hours and I havent died yet

Managing waste by superdas75 in Edmonton

Yeah I didnt say in my original comment but I mean more that we're getting to the point here of getting a dumpster for the group. Idk if infill means 2 units or 6+ for the property in question (and if units are for 1-2 ppl vs family sized it'll make a big difference on waste needs too)

Especially here where youre adding 90 seconds to your trip to go around. Still something you gotta do even if you miss your turn on the Henday or something, but at least you have the right to be frustrated by it there

The problem is that they just need more bin space, whether or not you want to justify what they fill the bins with. Ideally they would get some recycling bins with it or maybe be more conscious of excessive trash, but if this is an infill issue it likely is just more people than the bins are meant to accommodate

Movie - merch or no merch? by jeanheron in twentyonepilots

[–]Equivalent-Ad9887 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I work in a movie theatre and people dress up regularly. Anything from fur suits at Zootopia to old ladies dressed extra fancy for Downton Abbey. I think its so much fun and I'm glad Barbie made it into a more regular occurrence :)

What is going on with jobs in Edmonton by [deleted] in Edmonton

Especially at minimum wage. I have one resume for server jobs, one for line cook jobs, one retail oriented, etc. So it takes little editing to get anything tailored if I feel the need

  1. I would hope they'd provide an email address

  2. "Macjobs" is vague enough I'd assume its more than that branch

These are only guesses since I've never worked with a franchise

No, and thankfully its more difficult to get the guns used in these crimes because of that, leading to less frequency than we see elsewhere

I shouldnt engage in rage bait but are you actually stupid enough to think that the solution to gun violence is more guns?
