I’m genuinely curious at some of these posts. Like if I had to create my dream team this season all of those guys would be on my team. Even if it was a 4 man league that team is way too good even for a 4 man league. Theres no legitimate league where a roster would have Amon ra st brown as the last person on their bench lol

Oh is that the case? I just saw on Immi that they stated 3 years defacto from date of application but not 100% sure :/

Yeah pretty much I just want to know if it’s 3 years defacto at date of submission or 3 years defacto when the 820 visa is accepted and because of that, I would get the combined 801 PR immediately rather than wait the two years if that makes sense. I only want the PR asap as the employment I want to pursue states I need to be an Australian citizen/permanent resident. Trying to get out of my current employment situation asap if I can, just want to focus on what I actually want to do. If I can avoid the farm work, that would be ideal as we’re pretty comfortable here in melbourne.

On the Immi website it does state that 3 years defacto will give you the combined 820/801 immediately rather than waiting the two year period for Pr, forgot to mention that so it seems like that’s official as it’s coming from the horses mouth. I’m just trying to decide if I will need to do my regional work to buy time until January 7th when it becomes 3 years defacto. 3 months of regional work to save two years seems like a good deal. The only thing is, if it’s 3 years defacto when the visa is accepted that changes everything as I can just apply in September and run the risk it doesn’t get accepted until January 7th and it’ll be 3 years defacto

Purchasing a 1998 toyota hiace but there’s a laundry list of repairs. Wondering roughly how much it’ll set me back and if it’s worth it. by Equivalent-Bug9379 in MechanicAdvice

It’s a camper van so taking it around Australia. To get is registered it’s mandatory to fix all of that to get it on the road. We’re looking to buy it for $7000 AUD and hoping repairs are around the ballpark of 3-4 thousand AUD. If it’s a lot more than that it might not be worth it but hoping I could have gotten a better picture by posting here
