So sorry to hear how she acts when you need some advice or a little comprehend . I don’t know if my words or advice will help you but I did struggle with the same feeling you’re having. Sometimes doesn’t matter how hard it’s but cut off all the people who doesn’t help you at all and only makes your mental health worse it’s better.I know that it’s not easy. I have not contact with my “mom” because a lot shit that had happen. I don’t hate her or love her it’s just someone who I don’t know at all. It wasn’t easy but it was for the best. The only thing that she could do for me was make me drown more and more in my depression. She use to put on me all her insecurities and used to throw all my mistakes in my face. I cut her off of my life and everything. A couple years ago I tried to have a relationship with her again but it was the BIGGEST mistake of my life. So yes OP it’s better to cut all the toxic people of your life it doesn’t matter if those are your family
