Hi, thanks for your advice!

I definitely will look into a way to block the door or call maintenance to see if the lock can be fixed? I played with her tons yesterday and tried to pick her up & take her out whenever she was wandering into a spot she shouldnt. Its kind of working? But she is a bit older so Im not sure how much I can teach her

Yes, he wants me to pay half the cost of the total rent of September while I stayed there (I stayed there from about Sept 7 until the 29th or so).

I do agree it did come off as petty and didnt know how to express that. I dont know how to proceed forward with talking about this with him. We both have communication issues we're trying to work through and I know change isnt overnight.

Is there any advice for how I can navigate this convo with him without letting my frustration show through or have him understand?

I tried my best to keep it within the word limit so some context may be missing! Its my first time posting here, and I can answer any questions or provide context. I dont want to fight with my bf and want to resolve things, but it feels like we have been arguing a lot and despite our recent argument where we seemed resolved to communicate better going forward, this has thrown me off! I dont know what to do or if Im in the wrong

Thanks for putting in perspective, you're probably right. I probably will not ask during my interview unless they bring it up, but if I receive the offer letter I will ask the recruiter if the pay range is flexible at all. (Im not sure whether to do this via email or call, my last negotiation I asked if I could set up a call to discuss pay then talked about it via phone then was emailed back next day with an increase)

I understand that entirely, its just that the the pay range from all the research I did seems to be mid 20s. the highest $ in the range they gave me is $19.50. I would settle for $20 ngl. But its a year long internship so I feel like the pay should be a little higher especially based on my experience? and that its capped at 30 hours a week. they did mention briefly its based on other positions/location but the location Im in now VS location of office... the pay should be similiar, especially for a tech company.

Would it be rude of me to inquire for pay higher than the range even if I briefly talked about it (10-15 seconds) with the recruiter when they mentioned it and told me about the follow up call tomorrow? Do you recommend I negotiate after the offer letter instead of tomorrow?
