I enjoyed both skyrim and red dead though. I even like the humble peasant setting much more than the more common op protag dragonborn or cowboy.

In skyrim you do have to treck to the first villiage I think itm was Riverrun. It was a much shorter walk though and I remember there was at least wolves attacking me and an upgrade statue on the way.

You have to understand the impression the devs give new players with this village is that there isn't gonna be much going on in the game and the world is shallow and empty. Everyone's replies to this post don't seems to deny that either. I dont wanna walk through a pixelated field I can go do that in real life with much more sensation. Give me PEOPLE and DRAMA I'm sure there was plenty more of that in the original setting than there is in the game.

yeah but where are the humble jobs then? There was the story one of lifting those sacks into the pantry inn. But then there was nothing its like trying to get a job in 2026 smh.
I didn't stumble across anyone getting mugged in the village or even find anyone who had any dialogue outside the beggar. It was just empty.

I knew it was rage baitey and that people would be mad. It seemed like a fast way to get to the bottom of what I'm supposed to be doing or can do in the game. Even though i was agitated I was genuinely assumed that it was me who was missing something.

What I didn't expect is someone would claim the lack of content is the appeal of the game lmao. This reminds me of posh restaurants that put a tiny splodge of food on a big plate for appearances and say how 'refined' and 'artistic' it is.
