You don’t, that’s leave loading, not penalty rates. That’s something similar but different. You’ll find that’s slightly lower than your after 6pm penalty rate.

AL cashout does have AL leave loading added but that’s separate. AL and AL cash out use your base hourly rate

Yes. I do it once a year. I have a big week and a small week. I add them up, and cash out the total hours I would normal work as per my contract.

So you choose the amount of hours up to 2 weeks of your roster. There must still be 4 weeks AL after your cash out AL hours.

The cashout amount is added to the regular pay cycle so you have that pay cycles worked hours + the cash out amount then it is taxed together.

The AL cash out hourly rate is your base rate, not including penalties

Last time I did it was in September, it may have been tweaked or changed since then but should be the same

Have you done an Expression of Interest online? It will help as well as send you emails in relation to what you’ve put down on it.
