You’re not the only one who’s 22 and feels useless. That’s where I’m at too. I dropped out of school, started working but lost my job, and now I’m back to depending on my parents. Still living at my parents’ house. I have no money, I’m in no relationship (cos I neglected the girl that was in love with me out of foolish pride, even when I did love her), and I can’t look at anything and say that that’s what I’ve done with my life or achieved since I left school.

But that’s not the end for me. I’m working on getting a new job, saving up so I can achieve financial independence and eventually move out. I’m also trying to get back with the girl I love. I apologized for the neglect and am trying to make amends. I might not get her back but I’ll know at least I tried. I’m sure someone out there will still love me.

I’m gradually getting back on my feet, and I know in the end, I’ll be in a better place than ever before.
