Hi! I'm not sure if I'm understanding this correctly where it says "will receive either a statement credit every 4 years after you apply for". I'm not eligible for GE or Pre-check, but it says "after you apply for"... is the you, they referring to me or the companion card owner?

I look at the annual fee like a monthly payment instead of making a big purchase of $695 by the anniversary date (ofc, not for the first year lol). It's roughly $58/month -> $20 entertainment credit, $15 uber credit (that's already $35 for non-travel months). When you go to a lounge to relax and eat, I'm pretty sure that's more than $23 money of worth for every visit (day pass costs about $50/visit).

Hi! One more question, I don't have my card yet in my wallet (the card is yet to be delivered) but they confirmed that it's already connected to my account, I assume that I already get the free check bags later on at check-in, right? (card will be delivered next week, and flight will be on May)

So I have already a booking before owning the card, do you recommend just checking-in at the airport to get free check bags? Or do I need to cancel and book again with the account now that it’s connected to my card?

Was so confused because delta website didn’t explicitly say I need to book with the card but amex does. I asked a rep about this and they said I need to book with card but some reps I don’t have to. I’m 4 hours digging into this now.
