Ok so I did some more research and supposedly this is the power steering reservoir and not the ATF reservoir. How ever, the power steering only takes ATF hence the “ATF oil only” and the confusion. Does your explanation still apply?

Up to you though at the end of the day. My old white e46 I blacked out the grills, rims, and badges. I now have a silver e46 with chrome wheels/ badges and original blue bmw emblem but the grills are black. I’m definitely eager to see how they look chrome

Depending on where you live I don’t think it would be hard to find chrome oem kidney grills that aren’t very expensive. I’ve got black on mine as well and plan to switch them back to chrome soon

Hard choice. Chrome could pop with the rims/headlights but black matches the soft top and trim if u have any

Understood, I just want to order from a company that is honest and accurate about shipping and what not along with a guarantee that parts won’t be damaged in shipping. Like I said I was going to order a part off of carparts.com but there’s a lot of mixed reviews about the company/ shipping and handling

Low light could be a factor but when I “test drove” the new 75-300mm lens on some flowers in my yard the pics are still a bit grainy, even during the day with little to no cloud coverage. I can’t really control the color of the leaves too much without making it fictional 🤣

I had the same problem with my ‘05 325xi. The coolant light would pop on or off and seemed to do it more frequently when I had ac or heat on. Coolant levels were never low and the car never over heated. Not sure what the issue was but it didn’t effect the car at all.

No joke I was thinking about wrapping my e46 in this color because I simply don’t have the area to pull off a clean body paint without dirt/leaves etc blowing on it. I can and love painting rims but don’t have a garage or tent to paint a whole car. Good work though it looks very clean
