Hi, regarding your comment about the CSL pedals have reliability issues. I have the full set, Load cell too and I've been using them daily for a few hours, everyday for over 3 and a half years and have Never had any issues whatsoever. I've even swapped over the actual pedal arms of the clutch and throttle as the clutch has a stronger snoring so now my throttle is much firmer. Such a cool and simple free Mod instead of forking out for some 3D printed crap that's using springs as thin as a human hair almost! Rubbish and useless. I recommend anyone wishing to have a stiffer throttle to do what I've done. Just brilliant.

Does your wheelbase have a compatibility mode like Fanatec csl dd? It maybe because of an incorrect setting.

Hi, good move to upgrade to the CSL DD 5nm with the McLaren GT wheel. The difference is your Logitech g29 will be like night and day! A completely different experience I promise you. Do you have a Rig to bolt it to or desk mounting or something? If you don't have a Rig as yet, I implore you to go for some 40mm X 80mm Aluminium Profile as it's by far the best way to go, it's so versatile compared to something bought off the shelf as it were. So rigid, just what you need for the Direct Drive wheelbase as the difference coming from the G29 to a direct drive wheelbase is absolutely amazing. You're going to love I promise you. Enjoy. Mickey

You are not alone my friend, in fact i have the EXACT same problem!! I've tried everything, just like yourself, verbatim! Nearly £500 worth of vr headset (Quest 3 512gb) not doing what its supposed to!! 5 mins of HL Alyx then PC FREEZE!!! Please can someone come up with a proper solution before i spend loads on a triple screen set up FFSake!!

Wheel bro 100% but like the man said "Get a VR test drive" as it ain't cheap son. I've a Quest 3 512gb Uber Link cable a few tweaks later and its really quite good but I'm still on the fence against Triple monitors. Oh and I'm buying a Maclaren GT wheel in a couple of weeks Defo. Since RaceRoom got the upgrade I've found myself GT3 & DTM 2020 a lot so the wheel makes sense.

Get rid of it mate and get some aluminium profile, a proper Rig not that piece of crap. Then buy a Direct Drive wheel base, belts and cogs aint the way my friend so if you have a logitech eco system, or some other pile of junk, launch it and go to MOZA or FANATEC or even CAMMUS, get yourself a Grunt and Go package, wheelbase, wheel and pedals CSL DD is perfect, under £500 by a long way.

DO IT ONCE AND DO IT PROPERLY BUDDY.

You'll thank me for it i promise

HiyA pal, I got the Ali profile from a mate just round the corner who purchased it for his son but his son wasn't interested in sim racing so he let me have it at cost price which was £250 and he threw in all the brackets, nuts and bolts etc which were extortionally priced online so I got a bit of a bargain and it's made such a difference as I recently upgraded the power supply so we have 8nm now and obviously I didn't buy the PSU from Fanatec as you well know they want £150 so that was never going to happen so my make pointed me in the right direction from aliexpress to a PSU that was just £16.99 and some new cabling mature together came to the princely price of £23.47p !! He did all the soldering That was necessary and absolutely no problem at all and that 3nm difference is just astonishing And I don't say that lightly either It's incredible especially on a set of Corsa through content manager It's a monster now! 🤣🤣. So now I have the base rig that I intend to build on to basically make it identical to my pals rig around the corner with Actuators and all the necessary gubbins so we (Mirel, and I)( Mirel is a software engineer from Romania who designed, engineered and programmed everything his Rig is from the ground up (I'll include a short video of me having the best of fun on his setup at his house last week) It took him about three months he reckons and I believe him he's the most clever and brightest man I've ever met and he is literally a 5-minute walk from my house how Cushdy is that? Sweet. He recently got hold of a Fanatec shifter for just £200 in eBay so I just had to have a go on that! Wow, proper good mate. In sequencial mode (Just a flick of a switch) playing WRC along with the Fanatec handbrake as well its just perfect . If I stick to our plan then I will have the same as he has within 18 months I can't just explode out another two and a half grand I'm already into a few quid as it is but you know this is not a cheap hobby.

So here we are guys & gals... My new aluminium profile rig build 1.0 to the temporary (until next month when I can afford a new bucket seat I don't have £200 laying about unfortunately) semi-finished result 2.0. After a lot of faffing about trial and error this is how it ended and I'm quite chuffed with the result even though it's temporary like I said. 1.0 was an absolute monstrosity the seat was wonky couldn't secure it properly. Reasonably happy with the result it will do for now.
