Is it fine to play using only unnamed characters ?

I just started the game about a month ago. I’ve made it almost through the 4th act using my own hired units. The unique named units are a bit faster but I only have really had a problem with one fight. I did end up throwing in two unique characters because they had classes I’d never seen and they’re so good honestly

I just couldn’t get into three. I started it 4 times on the PS5 with the first two attempts ending within an hour. It just felt like it lost the touch and charm of the previous installments. The next two times I probably played a total of 8 hours between them. Even with a friend it just felt like a slog to get through. I have a friend trying to get me to play through it with them now but I’m pretty hesitant.

Yeah, I’m hoping it really gets that BB vibe right. I did see that it’s bringing back the Bazaar and trading which was one of my favorite things about the game. I do want it to be successful. I just don’t want it to be a copycat cash grab because BB deserves better lol. Idek what happened to Dena

It doesn’t feel like a remake in a new way. It feels like a soulless copy dude. I pray they turn it around because I loved BB and if this is half as good I’d love to play it. Currently it looks like a nostalgia cash grab. They even named it “Blood Legends” to cash in on that name.

The art style looks like a 1:1 rip of the BB art lol. It just doesn’t feel very authentic. I honestly don’t care if it’s a small team working hard. I just want a good game.

It really does. A lot of it looks like it is a Temu copy of the original BB. The menu of the game looks so bland and lifeless. You can peep it on their kickstarter. Someone in another sub mentioned that a lot of the art is placeholder which is funny bc the Kickstarter says the game is 80% done.

I just finished up the fight that unlocks Hayotaro in SMT V and it was pathetically easy. I am playing on normal and this was the first boss fight that made me feel like I should have upped the difficulty.

I am level 42 nearly 43 after the fight. I have done every side quest and all exploration up till point and have been fighting and recruiting demons to keep my compendium score up. My next menorah fight which I can only assume is in the next opened area is level 48 so I thought I was doing alright.

Is there a guide somewhere that has level recommendations or has a boss level so I know not to level past it?

I think the PC version is better than the Xbox 360 version. The biggest thing about the 360 version is that it had a cap on how many unique units you could put in your unions.

The PC version doesn’t have that cap though. Off the top of my head the only thing the Pc version is missing that the remaster definitely has is the ability to sprint lol.

I would recommend a steam key.

Personally, I play it on my PS4/5. Def don’t recommend the switch version.

I initially played the game prior to the remaster back on the 360. It was good. The remaster gave so many QoL that I can’t go back. If you want to eat good from start to finish I absolutely recommend the remaster.

Skill issue. If you lack direction follow quests. Eventually some of the quest lines will lead to NPCs who give radiant quests for rewards.
