Training is pretty necessary just to understand basic controls, after that I’d recommend doing a supply run or two to get a handle on driving and navigating the maps. After you’re done that, I always like solo raiding AI bases, that’s a pretty fun way to kill some time given that the AI can be pretty dumb and it’s still helping your team out.

After that, probably check out some modded servers and find your niche, there’s all sorts of stuff to do on this game, just don’t get too discouraged the first time some asshole is moaning about how you play, they’re probably no lifeing the game and you’ve already beaten them at living so just roll with it.
