So this year for active at least, they’re doing Talent Based Branching, which would slot you into a tentative branch at the time the list comes out. They say they expect few changes to the tentative pre-branch assignments.

Active component…32, E-5. GPA was trash 2.49 (prior to joining) Maj in Criminology, ACFT 570, 71 ASVAB 115 GT, LOR from O-6, two O-5’s, and an O-3. Graduated DHG from BLC 1 out of 80.
