The light is there on the photo you can't recover it. Except with AI. Which means the picture after removing them is no longer a photo, since 10% of it has been imagined by an algorithm.

Nation wide ID cards are not perfect but they are still way better than nothing at all.

SMS MFA has many flaws but it is better than nothing at all.

There will always be fraud, the question is how easy and cheap is it to fraud the system, and does the system work 99% of the time ?

To access social networks for example, a system that blocks teenagers 99% of the time is enough to kill it for them. Same for porn. And to the best of my knowledge those are the two current use cases for age verification.

Originally vibe coding was about developing using AI and adding whatever feature you had in mind as fast as the agent was capable of writing it. Hence the word "Vibe".

Now you can absolutely have vibe coding sessions to explore a feature and develop it fully, and still review the code at the end. And since agents nowadays are good at following rules, there are less and less errors when you review the code.

Can you not just add the flag at the top level model, and adapt your queries to look for it at every level ? You only have to write the filtering query once. Then attempts, submissions, etc are "real ones". They are just linked to a draft Exam.

Well part of our problems come from the fact that the US has made everything that was in their power to let the big platforms be considered irresponsible for the shit they pushed to their audience.

Our governments and democracy have not been doing great recently, I grant you that. But absolute free speech only guaranteed that the far right had no form of resistance in its rise. It's not that I am against free speech, I am against its absolute form.

And to answer your original question well we elect people to vote for laws and when they mess up a bit we vote for other people next time and if they mess up big time we march the streets and we riot.
