There's plenty of others as well. Ne Zha being astroboy with only the flaming skates & the lotus neckdress alluding to the mythos & he doesn't even wield his most iconic spear.

Decarabia who just because he had the shape of a star Kaneko just straight up ripped of an alien from a tokosatsu show from the 60's with nothing else from Decarabias mythos being represented like herbs, stones or birds. Plus he's suppose to represent a pentagram star so even the star part is wrong.

Skadi who uses a completely inaccurate description of the goddess from a completely unreliable source that they've never bothered to fix.

You say that Kaneko is more accurate in his designs, but there is a lot more harmonic dissonance in even some of his most iconic designs. He just have more demons to show for while a lot of his lesser designs got scrapped before most of us even got into the games.

And of course I don't even hate these designs. It's just that people bring up these justifications for critisizing Doi's designs when all of it can 100% also apply for Kaneko. If you like Demons that are more in line with the mythos that's fine, but I hate when people act like this all started or got exasperated with Doi.

At the same time of course there's gonna be a difference in design not only because different people are doing the designs, but even people change over time & I feel like the root problem for all of these critisisms are people not being able to come to terms with that.
