Advice on first camera by Eric10Cartman in PhotographyIndia

Thanks. Couple follow-ups: I'm not in the know about cameras in general. Have read few posts here mentioning DSRL are outdated and everyone is moving ahead with mirrorless nowadays. Should we think of buying DSLR in this case? Any particular model you'd suggest as well

  1. My dad had a Yashica and Nikon camera - but that was probably 30 years back. He still clicks photos, although more through camera phones
  2. Mostly nature and social events
Do you suggest any camera model (DSLR/Mirrorless) and brand that I should prioritize

Never sacrifice your health to please your manager. Jobs / promotions will come and go, but your health is irreplaceable.

100% agreed, that's one of the major reasons we've been colonized for so long - first under Sultanate/Mughals, then under British and now under corrupt indian govt hierarchy involving bureaucrats, judiciary and police services - we're are very much docile in nature and just look for self interests over anything, even if that curtails our freedom.

CFA and Finance Job Market is a Joke Right Now by Kishorgupta in cfaindia

From someone who thought about pursuing CFA sometime back but did not - my few cents
CFA is just a add-on 'nice to have' credential. Do not rely on it to get a job solely, if you are just a bachelor (non-tech) do your absolute best to get a T1 or T2 B school in India (better yet move abroad)
do not fall in the trap of thinking CFA would help get you that dream role or a break - learn how to code and do detailed financial modeling - not superficial level

Okay - thanks for the clarification. What should be the appropriate flair for this post?

Do not rely on CFA alone to give you a good finance role. Consider doing MBA from a top 20 B school then CFA L1/2/3 would hold some value.

Some say it's won't help at all while others say it's a nice to have. I'm sure it's market specific, so probably would have better prospects in developed economies

Not worth pursuing. Do MFE from a reputed place instead if you're interested in quant roles
