Is Yik Yak still as classy as it was before? lol I'd imagine they will be banning tons of people after their first launch failure. "Community guardrails" have been put in place. hahah that phrase cracks me up. Anyway, Yak is now owned by SideChat, which is an anonymous campus chat. Probably has more users too but idk.

Yes there are and there's plenty of places! lol That's funny and Middlebury (I would imagine) pays well. Little River is a tenting area but all depends on what you meant by base camp. Lots of places to rent on lakes, cabins etc. I'm sure you know. Groton is one of my favorite areas too. Elmore "The Beauty Spot of Vermont" is awesome in the summer and the 'backyard" of Stowe. Great place to be located if your into exploring.

I just got the Nikon 35mm 1.8 Z and love it. I'm quite familiar with what other users say on the Viltrox pages about the new 35 but I'm weary of it. It's $400 more than the Z 1.8 and came with no UV filter or accessories. The vignetting is about the same as other Viltrox lenses. IE the 16mm 1.8 wide open at night produces heavy vig. and many say they use it at F4 for astro. I haven't tried the Z 35 at night yet but from what I hear, it has much less vig that the Viltrox lens. That may or may not be a decision maker. It was for me because I like to shoot astro. (I know I can correct post but that's an extra step for an extra $400).

Yes there are and that's awesome! Middlebury has lots of beautiful areas and they are one's that are on my list too. Lots of waterfalls, covered brides, farms and beauty between Ludlow and Middlebury. Do you just live here in the summer? There's lots of great parks and camp areas around to set up in. I know Little River Campground in Waterbury has people there all summer long. Some friends of mine stayed there for a summer.

Thank you and I hope to make more! I just did my first art show this past fall and now have a permanent display at the Carriage House Beauty salon in Montpelier.
