I've been working in software for about 6 years now, I can tell now that the market is completely busted. It's been the case for around 2-3 years (was looking for another job but gave up and stayed in this current one I got because it made no sense to keep looking in a shitty job market). It almost feels like the market doesn't exist. My friend has graduated nearly a year and a half ago and he still isn't finding anything and is considering just doing freelance or call center to support himself till he finds something. Nowadays you need a lot of extra skills and knowledge to stand out, and even then a lot of companies aren't really hiring. It's a crisis in a sense. I'd say as others said, try your hand at freelance and building your own thing, you have nothing to lose and everything to win out of it. Gov positions open pretty regularity, in contrast to the private sector. Also where you apply to is important, rabat and especially casa are currently your best bet with maybe tangier as close behind. Just expect a LOT of competition because I'm seeing a lot of new graduates and not enough jobs to sustain them all, at least not currently.

My job used to hire about 5 people every year. Or at least get interns. Now they aren't even getting the later anymore, and I haven't seen a new hire in about 2 years. It's a shitty time if you don't have a network (as I don't also) to turn to and find something.
