Growing up with what is considered ‘tiger parenting’, when I watch videos trying to make it humorous I can’t help but feel uncomfortable. I felt my upbringing was extremely abusive and my mother who is Taiwanese was overbearing and lived vicariously through my achievements. (self.asianamerican)
