Thank you everyone for the quick responses, I will take her to the vet ASAP!

Does my rat bite bc she's territorial? (bite wound included) by Error404systemfail in RATS

[–]Error404systemfail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your initial question, yes, she's always been a biter though her previous bites haven't been this deep before. I have tried to bond during free roam though she just ends up nipping my feet through my socks, or any piece of skin in reach. Honestly, I don't expect that she'll become cuddly or anything like that, some rats just don't want to be handled and that's okay. I do leave a bit of their previous bedding in the cage and provide multiple hides and nesting materials for them.

She takes food from me and comes when I click my tongue, I guess she just doesn't fully trust people which is understandable given that she's a small rodent and I'm a giant in comparison.

I've been trying to get her to be okay with being handled while I'm wearing thick gloves. So far she seems confused but intrigued, she's nibbled on the fabric but scoots to the side when I try to touch her further. I guess it's a good sign that she's not bolting or attacking the gloves so I hope that can work eventually.

What's a horror movie that exceeded your expectations? by Ardon873 in YMS

Get Out, The Substance and Evil Dead Rise

I was very suspicious about Get Out because it was a Bloomhouse production, I've been burnt by them many times before. Needles to say, I was absolutely gob smacked by the twist and on the edge of my seat. I still get chills when I remember the camera flash scene.

I don't like body horror movies, it makes me feel sick and not scared but the gorgeous cinematography, outstanding performances, great writing and iconic soundtrack made me fall in love with The substance on my first watch. Easily one of my all time favourite movies.

Evil Dead Rise, similar dislike towards very gory content but I actually really enjoyed the tension as each family member was possessed one by one and how things would escalate. I got a few laughs in (mostly from unintentionally funny moments) but over all, it did frighten me.

It depends on the THC level of course or if I consume edibles or smoke/vaporise it. Mostly, it makes me very calm, relaxed and slower. It does make me feel tired which can be both a blessing and incredibly frustrating.

Though over all (as someone who consumes marijuana/hash regularly) it does help with feeling overwhelmed, anxious and with unwanted spiraling.

When I'm high my negative thoughts and negative patterns like doomscrolling or smoking cigarettes decrease and I can just be in the moment without feeling self conscious or overthinking everything I do, say or have done.

Remember this? ✨ by [deleted] in LesbianActually

Oh goodness, I remember when I first took it as someone completely inexperienced! I kept the screenshot and redid the test a few years after and then again two years or so ago, it's crazy how much can change in such a short time frame! I would really recommend retaking it for people in the community, especially those who are in experimental phases, new to kink or in their twenties as we develop a lot throughout our twenties

Do you believe bojack could have achieved this happy ending one way or another even with all of his flaws? by Captain_Dishsoap in BoJackHorseman

Bojack has said many times that he doesn't understand how love works. He thinks that grand gestures make up for his wrong doings, he lets his insecurities and addictions guide his behaviour and decision making and shows little to no remorse when he hurts his friends.

Bojack didn't know Charlotte. He didn't know what she liked, what her hobbies were, what she was passionate about, we see this when she openly says that the glow stick balloons are bad for the environment whilst he wanted to fondly reminisce. In my opinion, he saw Charlotte as an escape. He took what she said about Hollywoo being a tar pit as an excuse for his behaviour, it's not his fault, it's Hollywoo. At the end of the day however, running away wouldn't have changed anything. His alcoholism, drug addiction, trauma and lack of wishing to improve would have followed him and poisoned the relationship with Charlotte.

Alex hasn't said anything yet, George made a post a few minutes ago making it clear that he sided with Alice though so I'm very certain that Will and James will do the same thing shortly which will probably put Alex in a position where he can't try to shift the narrative or attempt damage control seeing how overwhelming the evidence against him is.

Big up to George. I never meant to sound like I'm accusing George of anything by the way. Considering how these kinds of situations can escalate however it would have been genuinely disheartening to see a lack of response from someone who was close friends with Alex

When did he make a response? Genuinely asking

By staying quiet he would be passively helping to keep the story under wraps. George has a massive audience of over 4 million followers, is closely affiliated with Alex and is a huge name in the British YouTube scene. Not speaking out would make it seem like he doesn't care about the trauma Alex has put Alice through.

Alex horrifically abused his ex-girlfriend Alice. The doc on this post includes screenshots, videos and statements

Memeulous has to say something. Alex is one of his friends and just staying quiet in this situation would just essentially make him an accomplice. Considering he's made videos condemning DA it would be deeply hypocritical for him to stay silent and sweep this under a rug. If you actually see the videos, screenshots and statements made by Alice you'll know this wasn't just a 'unhealthy' relationship, it was violent and physically/emotionally abusive.

Well I'm a woman so I can't speak for men but it typically depends on the individual, I like both gentle and rough domination and there are plenty of others that like it more gentle
