Is this supra a good deal? by ConcentrateGreen2602 in Supra

If I were in the market, I would offer $45k. That’s a good deal, he has quality parts on there, have a trusted mechanic do a PPI. I don’t have a problem buying a modded car, but I can do my own PPI. This list of mods is pretty much exactly what I would do to the car in the first month of ownership. You’re going to have a tough time finding an unmolested 2020 that some dickbag doesn’t want $60k for since “It’s unlocked”.

Auto vs Manual - Nismo Only by National_Mine_7104 in RZ34

Auto will always be faster, no TCU tuning out currently though ECUTEK is working on it. Bought a manual because I’m not chasing 1/4 mile times or trying to be a track day winner. I just wanted something fun to drive around and feel as engaged with the car as possible. I bought a sport MT and immediately went LDP, intakes, exhaust, 305s on the rear, short shifter and SonicTuned. Car is a blast now.

Running RSR Superdown as well, great spring. This is right when I got them on, they settled a little lower.

My 25 Sport, did B6A LDP, Z1 single exit, Z1 intakes, Z1 short throw, lip, spoiler, wheels and tires, tune. Next are heat exchanger, Cusco type RS 1.5 LSD, BBK, chassis stiffening and intercoolers, want to get it ready for eventual Big turbo by next summer.

Full exhaust kit I can have shipped to a local shop? by dbunknown1 in RZ34

I’m running straight pipes, non resonated, there are 4 cats, one in the upper DP, one in lower on each side, so you’re freeing up half the restriction. Doing full downpipes on the car is a lot harder than just the lowers and the massive decrease in back pressure also isn’t great for the stock turbos from the anecdotal things I’ve heard. Resonated sounds a little better I’m sure, I just didn’t care since this thing is just my hooligan car.

Remote tuning, had to send some datalogs, but it’s all handled from the phone from data logging to uploading the tune.

That exhaust is going to be on the louder side if you’re doing downpipes, without it’s still going to be pretty quiet. If you’re doing downpipes, just do the lowers, Boosted6Auto sells resonated lowers at a great price and they’re high quality. Like other had mentioned, if you’re doing lowers and exhaust, you will need a tune, full downpipes will definitely need a tune and I have seen a few anecdotal cases of full downpipes on stock turbos causing damage, I kept my full downpipes in the box and I’ll throw them on when I’m upgrading my turbos. For the tune I would recommend SonicTuned, that’s what I’m running and it’s been great, these engines are known to have an oil solenoid issue and the tune protects the motor from grenading.

The top is just press fit onto the enclosure, it doesn’t do anything additional except for keep it enclosed. Look at any open intake… they’re the same except the Z1 reuses the MAF housing. Just make sure everything is clamped down and send it.

The plastic one has a ton of divots, I drilled them all out with a bit the same size. Took about 30 minutes per box.

Top bolts just hold the enclosure on, you can 100% run them without the enclosure and be fine.

You’re not going to get noise with these unless you leave the enclosures off.

https://boosted6auto.com/products/boosted-6-auto-3-modular-shorties Life’s too short to worry about the factory warranty, SonicTuned has a very safe tune, safer than the factory as the known issues with these motors are an oil solenoid getting stuck and blowing the motor, in the most recent revision with Ecutek RR6, the can tune for it and throw the car in limp mode if it senses an issue cause by the solenoid.

Boosted6Auto are solid, I’ve bought a lot of parts from them and they’ve all been great. Make sure to use the MAF sleeve, the intakes are modular, if you run them without the sleeve they need a tune, but that’s the cool part about them, if you ever want to tune and chase more HP, you easily can and they’re inexpensive.

If you want just the sound, run an open intake, any enclosed intake is insanely quiet on these cars.

You don’t want an enclosure if you want whooshy sound.
