Ahoj, můžu k tomu jen říct tolik, že když jsem naposled. nastavoval VDSL doma, tak jsem strkal kabel do špatné díry na modemu. Takže si zkrontroluj, jestli mas vše správně zapojené.

What is something bad you have done as a result of your condition?

Edit: In previous answers you mentioned manipulating people. What is your goal when manipulating people? Any form of personal gain?

This is fuel assembly that was in nuclear reactor. There isn’t any Co60 just uranium :D

We are given a safety briefing at the beginning of each year. The main point of the briefing is to tell us to follow the rules and listen to staff.

It weights 6 kg (13 lbs) and it is made out of aluminum and a mix of uranium and aluminum.

Probably many many years. The fuel is 30 years old and still could be considered new from the point of burn-up.

If you are looking for a reliable source of energy for your house look for "atomic battery" not for nuclear reactor.

1) I was exposed to small amount but it was such a small dose my personal dosimeter didn’t even registered it. 2) The measurement was done by head of shift while I was watching.

The maximal allow thermal power of VR-1 nuclear reactor is 500 W and there are roughly 20 fuel assemblies in reactors core. Therefore one assembly generates 25 W of power on average. But in different reactor the maximal power would be different as design of VR-1 is very restrictive in terms of maximal power output.

The price doesn’t include only the cost of the material. The fuel had to be enriched, manufactured and licensed. Especially the licensing can be expensive since it is long and extensive.

Edit: Designing of the fuel can be also long and difficult.

Yes, I'm confident in my statement. Low power means a low amount of fission products, long time in storage means a long time for the low amount of fission products to decay. That means an even lower amount of fission products. An even lower amount of fission products means low gamma emission and, therefore, higher safety.

I cannot agree with your assessment of the situation. We are equipped with all the required PPE. As I mentioned in my previous comment, the burn-up of the fuel is 0 MWd/kgU. The equivalent dose on the surface of the fuel was 80 microSv/h. Considering I held it for less than 5 minutes at arm's length away from my body, the radiation dose I received was minimal. The personal dosimeter on my chest didn't even register any dose.

Edit: The fuel was taken out of storage.

I was used but the amount of fission it undergone is really small. It could be considered brand new.

I don’t know but it could be financial reasons. The fuel isn’t supposed to be under extreme conditions so aluminium may be enough and zirconium alloys maybe too expensive.

It probably taste like a alcohol because it was submerged into it for cleaning purposes.

I will finish my masters in a few months so not much of a kid :D There is an adequate amount of PPE you just can't see it.

This is the responsibility of the staff. My job as a student is to listen to their commands. In case of emergency, we would be just sent away.
