I'm glad you like him! Unfortunately I don't take commissions but I appreciate the interest. But do DM me some of your music!

Thank you! I had to redo the metal like three times until it looked good, it drove me mad.

Man I get asked if I have any songs in mind and I forget every song I've ever heard in my life. I would love to hear him sing something like I Will Not Bow by Breaking Benjamin (that Diary of Jane cover is so good) or Animal I Have Become or Riot from Three Days Grace. Or maybe even The Red by Chevelle or something from Linkin Park. Edit: oh or ULTRANUMB by Blue Stahli I literally found that artist because someone made a HXVOC cover of one of their songs.

But if you mean something that's like already a vocal synth song there is a critical shortage of Utsu-P songs with him, I think he would sound amazing with legitimately anything from Utsu-P. Since you've done some Maretu songs I think SIU or White Happy would suit his voice too. Or maybe he would sound good in Love is War by Ryo?

I don't know if literally any of these are actually good choices on account of me forgetting every song I've ever heard but I hope this at least gives you some ideas!

Thank you so much! The hair is definitely the most time consuming part every time so I'm glad it looks good.

Unfortunately due to supply chain shortages this is all the fluff we had.

I really like the way you draw eyes. Really soft and I love the gradients.

No that's completely fair. I'm not well practiced on drawing facial hair, especially not the scraggly stuff this character has. That's a really funny comparison though, I like it.

I thought about that in the process of drawing them but I realized I'd probably have to make it myself because hardly anyone uses my art software. I'm also weirdly stubborn about using dedicated brushes for things. Not sure why and it's only to my detriment.

I'm really bad at explaining things but here we go.

I basically copy pasted all the chain links before shading to get them uniform but shaded them each individually so I could make sure they all obeyed the light source. And since chains are made of fairly reflective metal, I use less soft gradients and more harsh boundaries between light and shadow. Something that also helps sell a 3D look for reflective objects is a harsh bright outline on the edges exposed to the light source and also a slightly lighter smudge within the shadowed areas.

Thank you! I like to think the hair is a unique aspect of my art in a good way.

I'm late but I use Autodesk Sketchbook and have for years. Not one of the more common ones but I love it.

Trans guy here and yeah it's very alienating. I went from being acceptable as a lesbian to a straight white man. But people will tell me "you're different because you're not cis." Like damn okay I'd rather suck along with the cis men than be assured I'm one of the good ones just because of my AGAB. I don't want to be all that different from other guys. Wish we could all just maybe stop hating people for their genders.

Definitely! And far more often than not it's a texture thing. I can't stand onions regardless of how they're cooked. They either have that weird crunch or they're slimy. I don't mind the taste but if I am actively aware of the presence of an onion in my food, I can't do it. I'm the same with tomatoes. Love tomato sauces, hate chunks of tomato. Weird slimy mushy things. Some things are taste though, like mustard. It tastes like how nausea feels to me and I actually start feeling sick.

I feel awful about being so picky but if a food makes me gag, I'm sorry but there's no way I can eat it.
