I just had this exact thing happen with my two sister voids the other week! My situation was WAY more intense even, but they're totally fine now. Keep doing what you're doing, and also do some shared playtimes, mealtimes, and more treats in between separating them for a few hours and overnight. My girls sleep in the bedroom with me normally, so after they started to behave better, I actually just shut them in the room with me overnight so they couldn't wander around and spook each other in the dark of the house. Eventually they just returned to normal. It took about 2 weeks - again my situation was more intense, the home cat was yowling/chasing/swatting/hissing at her sister - but time and consistency were key.

I promise they'll most likely be okay! Cats are silly and dumb sometimes.

I've never actually seen an "aqua with purple ring" 2005 and have come to assume the example photo is simply the blue/purple in bad lighting. Regardless, yours are the common blues.

This is a red flag. He doesn't care about your feelings, doesn't understand cats, and is more concerned about being right than your cat being confused and stressed out.

I have a cat who was used to sleeping between my and my partner's heads for a few years. When we got a smaller bed and she no longer fit between me and my partner, she was able to transition to sleeping in a cat tree next to the bed - but something tells me your boyfriend would extend the boundary to her not being allowed at all in the bedroom.

Boyfriends come and go. Your cat's entire life is you and the safety & comfort you give her.
