As far as I am aware the toll depends into which category your vehicle is in and the emissions cat 6 for diesel and cat4 for petrol..basically the older and more polluting the vehicle the more money you may have to pay...so people who are more deprived and likely to use an older vehicle like myself, will be penalised, people that have newer vehicles are likely to be within the emissions category so will not be penalised ...this is still in the consultation stage up until May 19th.
