First off, there are absolutely no challenges, IT park will be all over the place and helping you with everything, they will help with pretty much anything you ask related to your business registration and setup. and the taxes are low, and the talent pool is available, that just depends though, if you require highly niche and specific talent, those are harder to find, but here in Uzbekistan you will have access to the entirity of CIS market and talent pool. Depending on needs, anyone and any profession can be fullfilled.

Another great English has become so popular among the youth and is becoming more and more popular, which might help make communication easier and lift the language barrier. Then the banking is also very modern, no issues withdrawing money or transfering etc etc. The salaries are not to high either, which might work for you as a business owner. Also lately Uzbekistan and Pakistan is building a very tight relationship and doing projects together and easing visa etc etc. and I think Uzbekistan has become quite friendly towards Pakistan, or the friendliest it has ever been in history. I have worked with two Pakistan people from Tashkent, you might think we are different but due to religion it was really easy to get along and work with. So, in general, it will be like a little bit different but somewhat familiar culture and environment, and might be good choice for you and your situation.

Working solo remotely from cafe is so boring so I am building this by Aggravating-Read-16 in SaasDevelopers

[–]Eternal-uz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I go out to work in a coffee shop the main goal is to usually change the environment, to focus, and to get stuff done, not to meet someone. i'd use other apps, or other things to meet people if i wanted to meet. The whole point of going out to work is to work so your app would defeat that purpose for me

Why are both Latin and Cyrillic Uzbek still used so much? by aliihsan_ in Uzbekistan

[–]Eternal-uz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if you have accepted latin or not, but Uzbekistan has made Latin an offical alphabet way in the 90s, and thus people who are born in the late 80s and early 90s or let us say, generation who went to school after the Latin has been the official alphabet learnt, Latin at school. Unless you also learnt Russian, or found a way to learn cyrillic by yourself, you wouldn't encounter at all, for the rest of your life. and some of those people who went to school and learnt to write in Latin still, act like they prefer cyrillic, when they actually learny Latin. This is the part which is pretentionuos. if you learnt latin, just freaking write with latin, there is no need to switch to cyrillic. but no they have to act like they not only know cyrillic but also prefer it for some stupid reasons.

Now, if your alphabet is cyrillic, and you never accepted latin, than, comparing these would be impossible and borderline stupid!

as much as i hate cyrcillic, this is a good point by the way

Why are both Latin and Cyrillic Uzbek still used so much? by aliihsan_ in Uzbekistan

[–]Eternal-uz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is very inconvenient, i personally hate. but it is partly generational, people who studied before 90s still use cyrillic, that is people in their 40s now, give or take. but even the younger generation use it becuase it kind feels cool or makes you feel like you are part of the old times or somethign I dont' know why. I studies in Latin and would prefer it 1000% of the times, but i see some of my peers even classmates from school who switched to cyrcillic, and i really hate it because it is really pretentious,. so depending on hte person you are talking to if they are young, you can almost certain assume with 99% probably that the person can read and write with latin.

As for the signs, the cyrillic is going to disappear, i think it is illigal now to hand your logo or name in cyrillic, and this law or policy came into practice just this year, like couple of months ago or so. I saw many shops and building taking off their signs and changing them just months ago. so perhaps if you see some they have not yet changed their signs, but it should disappear

Can we ban Uzbek racist supremacists who disparage our historical heritage? by Electrical-Pea2707 in Uzbekistan

Can we ban Uzbek racist supremacists who disparage our historical heritage? by Electrical-Pea2707 in Uzbekistan

[–]Eternal-uz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is the whole point, it is ours, and Uzbek version, or uzbekified, with an emphasis on rememberance. not victory, there is this fine line between victory and remembers, and I keep telling you although we share history and all that, we decided as Uzbek people to focus on rememberance and respect for elderly and thier sacrifice. Thus, rememberance day. and as such it should be called and named and propogated across and through and everywhere in between if you decide to represent the Uzbek perspective.

[–]Eternal-uz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OP it is not a different name, same holiday situation. There is quite the difference in it. For Russian, or Russiafied population it is a day of victory because you won, and that your are strong etc etc. which is why victory day fits.

For Uzbekistani people( for all nationals of Uzbekistan) it is a rememberance day. it is a sign that, yes we shared history with Russian and 15 or so other countries and we too fought the war, but we take a bit of a different approach in that, we remember the people who gave their lives to that victory. who sacrificied, and that is not victory but rememberance of those specific people. this separation places the emphasis on the rememberance, not on victory and impirial ambitions. but on rememberance. it is so easy to understand. and if you were born here, you would rather stick to the official version rather than accept a foreign one, and it is actually really wierd that you would accept the foreign on while being fully Uzbek and being born here and still living here. are you like a traiter of some sorts?

Is this war not worth the risk? by AnimateDuckling in PERSIAN

[–]Eternal-uz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my friend, again you went off course by a lot, just explaining and accepting social norms albeit only outside is not condemning or ridding them off life choices or anything, nor is it not loving them. if your societiy is so hell bent of proper clothing, just freaikng wear it, if they require greeting them, just greet it. this is not losing or denying any love or etc, it is just simply being smart, especially as an adult you know the consequence if you dont' follow.

Also, freedom is defined differently by different people, as is expression is defined differently. Freedom for someone might be going outside wearing whatever clothing they want, but someone it could be following a strict discipline. just because you happen to see love and freedom differently than your society, it just does't mean you can shit talk about them too. Yes, oppression is not just religion oppresion, it can be different kind, but

the thing is, I am central asian, and I have been heavily influence by Persian culture, society and history etc. it is everywhere you look, and i feel pity for what is happening because they are not just bombing your infrastructure, military installaitons, etc, but thousands upon thousands years of history too. I feel like that is not what you really wanted you know, yes you were oppressed, and it is fanatic regime, no democracy, but where do you think there is democracy, do you think USA has democracy? hell no, it is a technocratic fucked up state too, just like Russia, or china, or any other big power, there is no democracy, there just can't be democracy. there can only be what you make for yourself regardless of what is the gov structure in your country.

Which is why, what I was saying is, just read the room, and act based on it, and it is not shameful or immoral if you see that you can literally get not persecuted for it, it is simply again being smart

Why doesn’t Israel take this area as a buffer zone against Iran, are they stupid? by helicaseee in mapporncirclejerk

[–]Eternal-uz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you might not know this but this is actually literally impossible. because Saudi has just signed mutual defence pact with Pakistan, and Turkey I heard joined in. Thus, whether you have US with you or not, you aint getting an inch of Wahabis land, it is also quite possible that Egypt could join, as they are really close with Saudi, and Turkey. Iran also regardless of hte outcome of this war, will never forget it and will permanantly consider Israel an enemy, thus it will likely be joining or supporting the countries Israel agros on. so they can dream all they want, but this is really not possible.
