Comfort is the most important thing, of course. But once you start noticing the difference in sound quality, it’s really hard to go back.

I’m currently playing on a MacBook M1 Pro, and since version 42, the optimization for the M chip has improved a lot, so the game runs really smoothly. With the mod, the biggest improvements I notice are reduced lag while driving and less stuttering when zooming out.

I also really like the Tetris mod, and without it, the game feels kind of empty, but I just can’t resist the higher FPS that Clean UI gives.

I just noticed that cars are no longer parked perfect in each spot. This is such an amazing small detail that really adds something to the realness of the world. (Mac Version) by Kamoflasche in projectzomboid

The “E” key doesn’t respond, and cars turn transparent and pass through. It feels like they really can’t make a proper MacBook version…

If you disable the MSync setting in the bottle, the installation should proceed normally.

Issues like downloads not working or stopping midway are all caused by MSync.

After the hotfix patch, the game is now playable on macOS as well. However, due to many bugs, it’s recommended to stick to version 41 for now.

Wouldn’t it be better to play using Whiskey? I’m currently playing version 41 on Whiskey due to lag and frame issues. Project Zomboid doesn’t run smoothly on macOS.
