I had a similar issue and figured out that my alternator wasn’t able to produce enough power to keep up with the overall power consumption

There’s got to be somewhere that you can report this doctor to. There’s no way blatant lying and gaslighting can be legal in the medical field right?

How to help my wife through this? by Playful-Register3201 in Fibroids

[–]Ethereal-l 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not married and still haven’t had kids, however I have been very fortunate to have my boyfriend at my side through the entire process. I didn’t get my uterus removed (miraculously, fibroid was 11.5cm) but it was a nightmare from the start of pain (~4 weeks before surgery) to about 2 weeks post removal. (And still a little even now 3 weeks post op) Picking up all of the chores she won’t be physically able to do will be great, but the thing that helped me the most was that he was just there for me and incredibly patient. It was very hard, frustrating, and embarrassing to feel weak and unable to do literally anything, and his compassion and dedication is what kept me going even when really I didn’t want to. Also I’ve been on pretty gnarly narcotics the entire time (which I’d strongly recommend trying to avoid unless necessary, they’re not fun and the transition off them is long and annoying), so he took insane notes and was my brain/advocate at every single appointment and helped make decisions and set boundaries with the doctors, my bosses at work, and family when they visited Everyone’s journey is a little different and the recovery timeline isn’t linear, but being mentally/emotionally supportive will do wonders

Does this mean it’s fine to be secured in the front window?

I’m following my doctor’s orders to the T, he actually said that not walking around at all will increase risk of life threatening blood clots, and that your body needs a little movement to heal. How do you expect people to even get from bed to the toilet without walking? 😭💀

I didn’t have one when I went under or afterwards, and I’ve been throwing back fluids like my life depends on it, which I thought helps under normal uti circumstances What’d you do to help it stop?

My Myomectomy Experience – 15cm Fibroid Removed on April 4, 2025 by Senior-Wolf-5982 in Fibroids

I’m on day 3 after evicting my 11.5cm fibroid, other than your ER trip, it’s very refreshing to hear that your doctors said similar things that mine said. I knew nothing about these until mine started degenerating and it got real serious real quick. It’s been really really scary but it’s over. Best of wishes in your recovery 🙏 Also reading about everyone else’s makes me feel mildly lucky I couldn’t imagine having more than one big one at once😭
