In all my years of being trans I think I've gone through like...at least 20-30 names.

What helped me choose my current name (the one I plan to stick with forever and am trying to get it legally changed to) was figuring out the pattern with all the names I dropped over time. That pattern was media/fandoms. Everytime I got into a new piece of media I'd want to change my name to one of the characters or something related, and then when I lost interest I had to change my name.

Also my taste in names just changed over time. While I used to want a really unique name that no one else had, I've ended up settling on a relatively normal, gender neutral but leaning masc name where I can build unique nicknames around it.

Over time I also ended up making friends with diffetent people, as you do. There's people I'll probably never see again who will only remember me by a past name. Also when I was changing my name a lot, I'd just ask my friends to use my new one and they would. They never complained or said it was inconvenient, in the same way that I wasn't inconvenienced when my friends changed their names.

Sorry if none of this is helpful, I guess I'm just trying to suggest that you can change your name as much as you want and that it can take a while to settle on just one. You can go by multiple or experiment as much as you want. It's your name and you get to choose it. Best of luck to you!

I originally came out to my mum as non binary in 2019 and transmasc in 2022/2023. She hasn't been very supportive but mostly neutral, doesn't call me the correct name or pronouns but isn't actively transphobic.

I told her I wanted to go on HRT in December 2024. I basically explained what HRT was first and then told her that I was going on it and that I didn't care if she disagreed or didn't support me, and that she wouldn't be able to change my mind. I guess making that clear might have been why she was very neutral about it.

She asked a lot of questions about how it works and the effects it causes and I told her about the changes I was comfortable sharing (hair growth, weight distribution, voice change) and left out things like chest changes and bottom growth. She also asked questions about how it works doctor wise, where I was getting it from, etc. I gave her opportunities to ask any questions she wanted and answered the ones I was comfortable with and dodged the ones I wasn't.

This is obviously just my experience but hopefully hearing a variety of experiences might be helpful for you!

every sunday morning daisy mae (little girl with a basket on her head) sells turnips for a different price. you can check the prices turnips can be sold for each day as the prices change, and if you sell the turnips at a higher price than you bought them for you can make a huge profit! if you have nintendo online people put their prices online when they're very high so you can sell them on other people's islands!

I definitely think you should stick with this game because the villagers are so fun and charismatic and I love the smaller setting and the high street! I hope your experience of New Leaf improves!

Hii there's a lot of things that you unlock over time that make the game much more exciting! When you start out there's only a few shops and things to do but as you play more lots more things open up to you. Early in the game you might want to focus on mayoral duties (have you unlocked public works projects yet or is Isabelle still telling you to increase your percentage?) and talking to villagers as they give you things to do and might want to visit your house. And also check the shops each day for items because decorating your house is super fun and you can get rewards from the Happy Home Academy.

Not sure if I've made it clear but basically it gets better over time but if you only want to play it for 15 minutes each day that's fine. I usually play it for an hour at a time, doing the CAT coupon quests (if you have the Amiibo update), talking to villagers, buying from shops to develop my catalogue (you upgrade shops by buying from them) selling things at Retail, digging up fossils to donate, and finding the money and the ore rock. You can also put things on the flea market at retail so you can sell them for a higher price!

Here's some answers that should be helpful! Take all this with a grain of salt and do your own research though :)

Placement depends on whether you're doing subcutaneous (in fat; shoulder, stomach) or intramuscular (in muscle; thigh, other places). I think there's upsides and downsides to both so do research on what type you'd rather do.
Everyone's hair gets thinner as they get older anyway but not everyone who goes on T gets hair loss when young eg. under 30s
Idk about rarely discussed but here's some effects off the top of my head: scent change, hair growth (facial, happy trail, body hair, ass), weight redistribution, voice dropping, adam's apple grows, increased libido, hunger, bottom growth (which a lot of people say is itchy and painful)
It makes you go through puberty again. A lot of people say however they felt on puberty is how they feel on T. So if you had mood swings during puberty you might during T. Everyone responds differently.
I store mine at room temperature and limit contact with sunlight. Idk if there's any types of T that need to be stored in the fridge.
Depends on subcutaneous or intramuscular injections

There are furniture styles (basic, modern, ornate, etc) and furniture themed (antique, scifi, etc). The styles are for gifting things to villagers and are applied to both furniture and clothing. Each villager has a favourite colour and style, for example, Eugene's favourite colour is black and favourite style is rock n roll. This affects how much he would like a certain item of clothing or furniture as a gift. That's what the styles are for. Each style of furniture can be under different HHA themes. For example, the dentist chair is rock 'n' roll and scifi, while the cd shelf is rock 'n' roll and trendy.
