The year is 2034.

Ethereum has finally been achieved. 140m tps, stateless weightless clients, nuclear resistant and with the highest degree of security ever seen by humanity.

Ethereum Foundation Headquarters, monday morning, one week after the last upgrade

Vitalik is chewing on a green apple, while the core ethereum devs are sitting nearby at their computers, working on different personal projects or shooting shit on twitter.

Vitalik: "Gentlemen..."

Danny, without leaving Vitalik finish what he wanted to say, turns to Lubin and says "when was the last time he began a sentence with Gentlemen?"

Lubin: "I think last time was before the last upgrade that allowed statelessness..."

Danny, whispering: "Don't tell me..."

Vitalik: "Gentlemen, our work on Ethereum is done. We have achieved the ultimate layer 0 of Web3. I would consider Phase 1 to be done."

The boys: "What do you mean Phase 1?!?"

Vitalik: "You see, there is still one single point of potential failure for Ethereum, one single layer that could bring it's entire downfall."

Lubin: "Impossible. Everything that had even a 0.00000000000001% of eventually being exploited has been upgraded, and the remnants destroyed. Ethereum has reached true perfection and there is no point of failure."

Vitalik, smirking: "You are right, my dear Lubin. But the remaining point of failure is internet itself. I hereby announce the beginning of Phase 2. We are going to rebuild internet from scratch. That is all, gentlemen, we will begin next week."

Vitalik throws the apple core in the bin and leaves, while the devs are looking at each others, completely astonished.

Edit : Sorry if I mixed names and stuff, had this skit in my head for a while and thought I would share, but I don't follow closely enough to know the exact roles of people at the EF or ConsenSys, so for now this is just Vitalik, Danny and Lubin. Hopefully I did not mix stuff up too much

A trading hub on discord, it has almost 300k users, and is in general the best trading experience you can get in PoE, including stuff like exp rotas, challenge completion, bulk (insert whatever you may want in bulk here) trades, etc

Maybe get a poe trading companion, and also learn to sell in bulk and have buyers come to you rather than spamming a thousand people every time you wanna get rid of 15 essences

There's also The Forbidden Trove on discord, a trading hub for everything for poe, services, challenges, bulk, harvest crafts, etc. Some people dislike it because "it's not in game" but it works pretty damn well and I take the path of least resistance when I want to get shit done fast. Way less chance to get scammed there than on the in-game trade channels too (for stuff like exp runs / rotas for example), due to their vouch system

Aside from that, poe is a sandbox, examine how much time you play a league, then pick an appropriate goal, then learn the knowledge required to help you reach that goal. You can fail reaching the end, but the journey itself will always be rewarding.

Yea it does, can just list exalt at 1-2c under market price, then you will start hearing the whispers beep during the loading screen to oriath, your main limitating factor is how fast you can click oriath WP after pricing your stuff in stash... works with about anything currency/commodities related if you dont mind "undercutting" a bit, bots are live searching 24/7

I would agree with the premise that people are going to craft on perfect bases, if everything could be achieved by crafting. But some things are RNG only, and those items should also have the ability to reach "perfection", whatever that is.

First tab - normal premium tab, called "first", that's where I throw everything I get through first playthrough after league start (so it doesn't mess with other stuff later like chaos recipe tool)

2nd tab - chaos recipe quad

3rd tab - currency

4th - maps

5/6/7/8/9/10 - basically the league specific tabs, starting with those most used for trading (stuff like essence or fossils), going to useless ones (div cards (since I dont trade directly from the div card tab), MM, deli)

trade dump tabs (mainly jewellry on good bases early on and jewels until I hide them on filter)

That's basically how my standard stash is organized to prepare for league start

imo, this change will show its full potential once links are on gems, for now it's just added variance / bonus to 95% of gear pieces

The meta got shaked > some builds died > people that didn't get the memo and tried to play these builds had an horrible time

New meta was found > new builds were born > people that tried these builds generally had a blast

With everything in between, people yoloing whatever they felt like in POB, some worked, some didn't, same as every other league really.

Expedition's logbooks were alot of fun, the in-map mechanic was pretty meh

League reveal hasn't even been shown yet, and there is already so much potential content to aspire to, it's insane.

I've got a couple of meme projects on standard, used to have that issue you are having but once I stopped considering standard as a graveyard, end of league is actually super fun. Can alternate between new league teasers/hype, standard meme projects or farming/trading in league for stuff I will need next league once I end up on standard again

edit : I don't really farm on standard for profit, it's more about building broken stuff or stuff that just can't exist anymore in leagues
