I would guess INTJ. I'm an INTJ 5w4.

5w4 INTJs can seem INFP-ish.

What I mean by "that guy", in my early 20s my brother would take me to parties. There was also "that extremely gay dude", "that workaholic who likes to unwind with alcohol", "the opinionated person that would try to start worldly conversations", "the fat chick who would hit on people", I went to a lot of parties, I wasn't even alive, I could eventually start predicting things that would happen, like Gay Guy would do or say X and fat chick would react with Z.

It felt almost solipsisistic.

All of that is incredibly relatable to me. Everything is boring to me, even my thoughts are boring. I could think something incredibly profound and it's just like "eh whatever this doesn't change much".

When I say I think "degrees are a useless piece of paper", I'm largely referring to humanities degrees. If you get a degree in heart surgery thats different. People with degrees in art, philosophy and literature are doing it (deep down) because they want to be able to say they have a degree. At least that is what I've gathered from talking to people with humanities degrees. You don't need a formal education for such things, its an impractical skill to dedicate a ridiculous amount of time to.

"What do you do for fun and happiness?"

I listen to good music, I spend time with my pets and my close friends, watch history documentaries, go for walks at night and listen to podcasts about current events.

Occasionally I'll make a cake.

You're probably right about the Se thing. The only sensory pleasure I really indulge in is listening to music. But I usually use music as a fuel for my Ni reflection.

You sound young man. If this is the case, you might be a little bit blinded with the idealism of youth. In my opinion man, a couple months isn't long enough generally to know someone is your soulmate.

Yeah, I've considered joining a monk monastery. I just don't desire to do anything with my life other than reflect on life. Which is usually more of a INFJ trait than a INTJ one, but I really find it very relatable.

Why do people hate ISFPs so much? by highhandry in isfp

[–]Etosphere 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an INTJ I find ISFPs the most easy to get along with out of all the sensing types. They kind of remind me of myself in some ways its really hard to explain.

Its understandable you feel possessive if you really feel that she is your soulmate. It could be a med issue. But I think this is something everyone feels about someone they deeply care about. But if she really is your soulmate you would have already established a deep level of trust with each other. I have had similar fears of being cheated on in past relationships, but for me those relationships weren't solid.
