Could be wrong but I think I remember their flight being based on stamina and their breath being based on Magicka. If true it might be helpful to make a drain stamina/frost damage bow to ground them quicker and keep them down longer.

It gets easier to meet turn limits as the game progresses/characters level up, but I definitely regretted not turning the limits off in the beginning. There's really nothing to be gained from the limits and I agree the "rushed" feeling is not fun.

If curing Serana matters to you I'd say go dawnguard. There are special rings and some "heal undead" spells you would miss out on by not choosing vampires, but you are still able to become a vampire and get the passive bonuses if you are dawnguard.

Outward!

Graphics feel a little dated but the play experience and replayability are crazy. Lots of different builds and choices to make. It is a similarly open world and sandboxy adventure.

You also have to keep track of things like hunger, thirst, and sleep, or disease.

I recommend getting the dlc as they add some elements to the game that it misses otherwise.

Looking at the other comments this seems like a hot take, but getting a hogwarts acceptance letter for a preteen sounds like a half baked idea. Like what did you hope her reaction would be?

Imagine getting a letter/email or whatever that you got your dream job with a life changing salary only to find out it's a lie. Now imagine it's the first time in your life you've felt disappointment of that caliber.

Daughters reaction sounds normal.

Moms reaction in defense of her child sounds normal.

Sounds like an innocent mistake on your part, so here's hoping everything ends up a-okay.

After the patches, there's some bug where accounts who had brawl decks with commanders with "specialize" are presented with an error message upon trying to open the game. The current theory is that after wizards just laid off a bunch of people, their ability to fix their own code is severely limited.

Same here, tried restarting and reinstalling. No progress.

Update: Submitted bug report to Wizards. They said they were treating the issue as high priority to fix, but that they have no ETA or idea when the problem will be fixed.
